Stevens Auction Company is delighted to announce the commission to offer at public auction selected antiques and furnishings
from prominent and historic estates from across the South. Included are items from three estates: an estate from Huntsville,
Alabama, choice pieces from a Bartlesville, Oklahoma estate, and the antique collection of Dr. Ray Gregory of Corinth, Mississippi.
This auction will include Federal, Empire, and late Victorian furniture, as well as a large collection of Roseville pottery (approx. 200 pieces),
fifty pieces of brilliant cut glass, old Paris and other fine porcelains, including Blue Salt Glaze stoneware. Additionally, bidders will see
exquisite china, antique clocks and oil lamps, original works of art, hand-made antique rugs, unique Primitive pieces, as well as hundreds of
other magnificent items. Highlights of this wonderful action include: an antique, horse-drawn carriage, an outstanding pair of double Argand
oil lamps, ca. 1830, and furniture by prolific furniture makers such as R.J. Horner, and Mitchell & Rammelsberg.
The open house preview will be Friday, November 22, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. on auction day. Pictures are
