Stevens Auction Company has been commissioned to offer at auction the Antebellum home and antique furnishings of the late Helen Mattox Crawford, of Hamilton, Mississippi.
The auction will be held on-site at this magnificent, 1852, Greek Revival mansion, Cedarwycke Plantation. The plantation also includes, among other thing, a log cabin, smokehouse,
potato house, original brick kitchen with three bedrooms upstairs, a barn, ten acres of grounds and gardens. Additionally, we’ll also be offering Mrs. Crawford’ lifelong collection
of antiques, period to the old Antebellum South, as well as select items from a Huntsville and Montgomery Alabama Estate. This auction contains Southern Primitives, Federal,
Empire, Rococo as well as late Victorian furniture. Also in this collection will be hundreds of pieces of glassware, porcelains, clocks, original works of art, handmade rugs and hundreds of collectables.
